STORY

Ela Essentials is an olfactory lifestyle brand that offers scent marketing services to hotels, resorts, restaurants, retail stores, and corporations.


Scent is the most understated sense
. It feels like a non-essential, yet holds a subtle influence. A cafe that smells like coffee all day entices people to come in. An office with a putrid stench lowers focus and productivity. Still, scent remains to be one of the most difficult to market.

Instead of pushing the products, the team crafted content around the experience. The challenge was in transcending visuals and having photographs that appealed to our sense of smell.

Different fragrances, different tones. Ylang-ylang hangs in the air with a sweet, mildly fruity scent while sandalwood lingers with a rich, oriental wood aroma. Others draw different effects. To that end, the team outlined clear comparisons that informed the buying decisions of B2B customers.
